The Lighthouse of New Mexico, Inc. is a Muslim run non-profit organization established in May 2017, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. We are listed as a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the IRS EIN # 82-4391023 and by the State of New Mexico under the Nonprofit Corporation Act 53-8-1 to 53-8-99 NMSA 1978 Business ID # 5552877. We are dedicated to:
The establishment of daily Salat (prayer) and Jummah (the Friday prayer).
Charitable works including feeding the homeless & hungry every Thursday at 5:30 PM.
The establishment of the Dhikr of Allah -- Remembrance of our Merciful and Compassionate Creator.
Extending a beautiful invitation to Islam to all who are interested.
Educating ourselves and those who enjoy learning.
Working with other organizations who benefit humanity and the environment.

What We Do
The Lighthouse of New Mexico is achieving more with our initiatives thanks to the support of a few dedicated Muslims receiving the help of Allah the Almighty. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of ourselves and others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. We are currently working to distribute food to the hungry in Albuquerque, NM in two ways:
Collecting non-perishables for the Ramadan Food Drive
Handing out food to the homeless once a week
Please donate generously by dropping off your non-perishable foods in our donation box at The Lighthouse. You may also join us in passing out fresh foods in areas around Albuquerque. Please visit the center or contact us to find out more details.

Maghrib: Sunset + 5min
Isha: 9:00 PM
Immediately after Isha during the holy month of Ramadan
The Lighthouse has a strict policy of sighting the moon locally before declaring the beginning or end of Ramadan, as according to the Sunnah of our dear Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
If the moon is not sighted locally by our moon-sighting committee, we will confer will trusted communities within the U.S.A., starting with communities closest to Albuquerque, New Mexico USA.
The Lighthouse of New Mexico is open for the 5 daily Salat (prayers) and
the Jummah Khutbah & Salat each Friday.
The weekly sermon is given by Dr. Ihab el-Kady, Dr. Sami Shakir and Brother Khalid Kassem
on rotating schedule.
Friday sermons are open to all, regardless of creed.
